FOOD DONATIONS/KOHA
As part of our acknowledgement of "MATARIKI 2016" we asked whanau to donate non-perishable grocery items to our Koha boxes. We decided to deliver our Koha to the Glen Innes Food bank which has been operating for 25 years in Glen Innes. We were fortunate to meet the wonderful people at Citizens advice Bureau who were so grateful to receive our Koha boxes. We took three children from Apii Potiki to help deliver our koha. Thank you to our whanau and our Apii Potiki family who have helped to make the donations. Its a wonderful feeling to know that we who live in this community are doing our part to help our community. Thank You to Tare and Millie for helping out today, and Thank You to our Tamariki who helped deliver our koha. Meitaki Maata
I am so touched that the little ones are learning to give and share with those in other circumstances around us. Thank you for giving all of us the opportunity to join and to be mindful of giving.
