Our Treaty Rules

It's been a pleasure welcoming and catching up with our tamariki and families after the Christmas holidays.
We have noticed that most tamariki are excited to be back in their Apii environment, and really eager to meet up with friends again.
Although it's been a great time observing all the reuniting and excitement, teachers can also see that revisiting our Apii rules and boundaries (Apii Treaty) may assist tamariki with settling into the new year on a positive note, and bring an awareness of teachers expectations.
Here are just a few 'Treaty Rlues' that we plan to revisit over the next few weeks.
Parents and Whanau can also use these visuals for extended learning in the home.
(Meitaki- thankyou to our teacher Faith for making these posters for us).

  1. That is such a wonderful way to remind the children of the rules. I love it. I even heard Jazie sining a little song about listening and gentle hands. Very helpful to know which words are used at the centre, so we can also use the same at home. Thank you
