Big Kids Club - end of year party

Today we had our break up party with our four year olds that are in Big Kids Club (transition program). It was a joyful afternoon with loads of fun and laughter. We made Apii Potiki pizza and milk shakes and we also played some fun games like "duck duck goose". We give thanks to the big school (Glen Innes Primary) for allowing us to use their hall for our celebration. Thank you to the teachers for making this day happen for us. Meitaki Maata
Before we started, we have to wash our hands and stand by the tables set up and wait for instructions.

Today we are maki "Apii Potiki"pizza

Making Apii Potiki pizzas was messy and fun.

Ready for the oven..

Once again, thank you teaching team for making this possible for our Big Kids Club tamariki.

  1. The time and energy our BKC teachers have inserted into their planning this year has created a fun learning environment for our 4 year old tamariki.
Well done to the tamariki who have participated in this years club. Their determination and enthusiasm is shared amongst their younger friends, and we're already seeing our 2 and 3 year olds wanting to take part.
Due to growing numbers and limited environmental work space, Tare and Papa Apii have been involved in self review processes to find ways to improve on BKC for next year:)
